Dixie Lee Browne, nee Burton, 76, of Caseyville, IL, born December 22, 1941, in East St. Louis, IL, died Sunday, February 18, 2018, at deGreeff Hospice House, St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Browne; a son, Timothy Browne; her parents, Curtis and Beulah, nee Roberts, Burton; two sisters, Charline (Charles) Courtney, and Jackie Burton.

Surviving are her children, Tracy (Thomas) Jones of East Carondelet, IL, Terri (Gregg) Flanigan of Murphysboro, IL, Jason (Tricia) Browne of Belleville, IL;
grandchildren, Sarah, nee Jones, (Nick) Ruder, Nicole Schroeder, Linzy McCluskey, Robert McCluskey Jr., and Benjamin Browne;
two great-grandchildren, Willa Ruder and Lynleigh Ruder;
and loving nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospital deGreeff Hospice House or to Christian Activity Center. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Villa Hills Baptist Church, 321 Eiler Road, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Villa Hills Baptist Church.

Many great memories of your mom playing horseshoes. We always had a good time and she was so sweet! So sorry to hear this and keeping you all in prayer!
