Dorothy Marie Wilson, nee Bollinger, passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Swansea Illinois, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the age of 82.

“Dotty” was born in Jackson MO on January 25th, 1936 to Arylis and Christine Bollinger.  She graduated from Freeburg Community High School in 1955 and married her husband of 62 years, Lloyd R. Wilson in August of that year.  Dotty worked as an Admitting Clerk at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville where she retired after 35 years of faithful service.   Dotty was a Charter Member of Faith Baptist Church in Freeburg Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arylis D. and Christine, nee Murphy, Bollinger; one daughter, Belinda Sue Lehrter; her sister, Cathy Vaughn, nee Bollinger; and her brother, Bob Bollinger.

Dotty is survived by her husband;
one daughter, Cyndi Wilson Antry (David) of Freeburg, IL;
two sons, Timothy Lee Wilson (Carol, deceased) of Priceville, AL, and James Andrew Wilson of Swansea, Illinois;
and one sister, Sue Rowland (nee Bollinger) of Hurley, New Mexico.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Matthew Crowell (Michelle), James Wilson Jr. (Ilona), Jamie Bateman (Malik Salaam), Timothy Wilson II, Bryan Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Jason Wilson and Michael Antry;
and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Eastern Missouri, 1001 Craig Road, St. Louis, MO 63146. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Waterloo, IL, with Rev. Steve Neil officiating.

So sorry for your loss. Dorothy's dad, Arylis and my mom Juanita were cousins.

We now have had to say good-bye to a precious classmate. "Dot" was a wonderful friend. She was a spark of fun when we bummed around as teenagers. Too bad I lived so far away from her, but she is now in heaven and our God is cuddling her in His arms......no more pain. Our memories are with us forever
