Ethel C. Masterson, nee Pour, 84, of Belleville, IL, born October 8, 1930, in Monroe County, IL, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Lebanon, IL.

Mrs. Masterson was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Centreville, IL, and belonged to the quilters group at the church.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Roselia, nee Eichenseer, Pour; a grandson, in infancy; four brothers, Albert Pour, Louis Pour, Paul Pour, and Lee Pour; and three sisters, Rita Schaefer, Alberta Heidger, and Adele (Eugene) Maurer.

Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, Owen G. Masterson, whom she married on November 11, 1952;
five sons, Daryl Masterson of Arizona,
Michael Masterson of O’Fallon, IL,
Richard (Peggy) Masterson of O’Fallon, IL,
Roger (Lynda) Masterson of Belleville, IL,
and Jim Masterson of Memphis, TN;
two daughters, Judy (Dave) Mueth of Waterloo, IL,
and Christine (Christopher) Burns of St. Peters, MO;
12 grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Robert (Gloria) Pour of Belleville, IL,
and Joseph (Marcella) Pour of Waterloo, IL;
two sisters-in-law, Darlene Pour of Red Bud, IL,
and Audrey Pour of Belleville, IL;
and nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL. Friends may also call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, at the church.

Funeral:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2015, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL, with Msgr. William Hitpas and Fr. Elmar Mauer, O.M.I., concelebrating.  Burial will follow at St. Augustine of Canterbury Cemetery, Hecker, IL.
