Mrs. Miller worked in the housekeeping department at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville before her retirement. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, IL.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Max Miller, whom she married on June 20, 1953, and who died on June 3, 2005; a daughter, Brenda Miller; a grandson, Christopher Hankhammer; her parents, George and Margaret, nee Egger, Wild; and a sister, Katherine Koerber.
Surviving are her daughter, Karen (Richard) Ireland of Swansea, IL;
her son, Daniel (Rebecca) Miller of Chesterfield, MO;
seven grandchildren, Jason Hankhammer,
Angela (Tyler) Murphy,
Nicholas Hankhammer,
Katie Hankhammer,
Melissa (John) Brannan,
Kevin Miller,
and Shannon Miller;
her sister, Frances Dickneite of Millstadt, IL;
two brothers, Donald (Dolores) Wild of Millstadt, IL,
and Charles Wild of Belleville, IL;
and nieces and nephews.
