So sorry to see your Dad's obit today. While it is true that your mother was my close friend, she was the first person I met after being hired at Scott AFB. A long time friendship began. We shared many laughs and a few tears. So, through the years, my husband, Gary and I, met your Dad and found him to be a very good man, and we liked him. As "girls" do when they worked together, we talked about our husbands and families. Your mother was proud of all of you and loved you as a wife and mother and then grandmother would do. Your Dad and I kept up the Christmas card and short note for several years but the last couple we have not. Both of us getting older. You are all in my prayers and I know he will be missed as is your Mother. Marilynn & Gary Cunningham

I am so sad to hear of Uncle Floyd's passing. I have been trying to contact him in the last several weeks to see how he was doing but didn't hear back. I had great respect for him. Our sorrow extends to his entire family and he will be dearly missed.
