Mrs. Schaller retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital after 24 years, where she worked as an LPN. She was an avid Cardinal baseball fan and especially enjoyed being a part of her family’s life, rarely missing an event for children or grandchildren.
Mrs. Schaller was preceded in death by her parents, Earl F. and Sadie I., nee Doolin, McQuaid; a brother, Lester McQuaid; a sister, Melba Wells; and a granddaughter, Melissa Koerber.
Surviving are her children, Robert Rodden Schaller (Lynn Richards), Richard (Claire) Rodden Schaller, Cathy (Glen) Burgard, Karen Ehret (Mike Bangert), Patricia Recker, and Jon Schaller;
13 grandchildren, Jeff, Tim, Angela, Elizabeth, Dee, Jared, Andrew, Amy, Leslie, Matthew, Kaylie, Jack, and Brad;
16 great-grandchildren, Cody, Maci, Logan, Gavin, Ethan, Mason, Marissa, Andrew, Emma, Kylie, Nancy, Jake, Kate, Jed, Maxx, and Olivia;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
