I have many happy memories of growing up at 9454 West Main, and one of them includes Joe. I was five or six when I went out into the backyard to see Joe painting the fence between our homes. As I inched up closer to watch, he asked if I wanted to help. Of coarse I Did!! He gave me a brush and that started our friendship. I also think he helped us kids retrieve the balls that flew over into his dad's vegetable garden by the garage. His dad was never in a good mood when those "bombs" came in.Funny, the things you retain from your childhood.
