Judith L. Shull, nee Northcutt, 76, of Belleville, IL, born January 30, 1939, in Belleville, IL, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Shull retired from the J. C. Penney Company, where she had worked in human resources for 37 years.  She later worked for Enterprise Leasing.  Judy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Fairview Heights, IL.  A former member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL, she had served on the Mission and Council Board and had been a member of the Fireside Club and the Prayer Shawl Ministry.  She volunteered with the Belleville Area Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity.  Judy enjoyed crocheting, reading, tole painting, gardening, and her favorite pet, Koda.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Irvin Shull, whom she married on September 3, 1966, and who died on October 5, 1996; her son, Randy Rickert; and her parents, Roy G. and Irene, nee Pfeiffer, Northcutt.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy L. Morehead of Belleville, IL;
a granddaughter, Nicole (Caleb) Miller of Grand Forks, ND;
a great-grandson, Vincent James Miller;
her brother, Roy D. (Bernice) Northcutt of Holiday Shores, IL;
her sister, Deborah (Clyde “Geno”) Coleman of Troy, IL;
and two nephews, Roy G. (Camalene) Northcutt of Edwardsville, IL,
and their children, Brenden and Grace,
and Jeffrey D. (Sara) Northcutt of Huntsville, AL,
and their daughters, Christine and Gabriella.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society or to Christ United Methodist Church.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Shane Bishop officiating.
