Mary was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd May; a son, Terry May; a daughter, Linda Groetken; a grandson, Ryan Groetken; a granddaughter, Brittany May; her parents, George and Elizabeth, nee Travis, Mertz; and three sisters, Jean Rodemeyer, Fern Stookey, and Charlotte Havel.
Surviving are two daughters, Dianne (Wayne) Ballard of Fairview Heights, IL, and Mary (Terry) Meyer of Belleville, IL;
a son, Robert (Beth) May of Belleville, IL;
ten grandchildren, Christy, Kimberley, Jordan, Lauren, Kelly, Joe, Scott, Jenny, Tracy, and Chad;
and nine great-grandchildren.
