Sadly, in the obits in today's Daily Herald, I read the news of Nancy's passing. Nancy and I were volunteers at the Arlington Heights Historical Society for a number of years until she moved away. She was a super volunteer and it's my pleasure to have been one of her friends. Please accept my sympathies.

My aunt Nancy has been a wonderful part of my life since I was a child. She was very kind to me and I always enjoyed seeing her. When I grew up and had my son, she became an important part of his life as well. They shared a special caring friendship, and he was excited to be with her from a young age through adulthood. We are both grateful for her presence in our lives for so many years. She was such an understanding and talented person and we will always remember her and miss her. Sending all of her family our love and sympathy.
