Condolences Left For Warren Briesacher

Dear Uncle Warren,

It has been a privilege getting to know you all these years.

From the beginning when you would come out to the farm to garden and I would make us lunch and we would sit down together so you could tell me about the “good old days” and the family history to our later days together when you told me your secrets of the past. I loved reminiscing with you. You were my time machine.

I came to adore you, Warren, and therefore I will miss you, greatly. Again, it was a privilege.

All my love.

Warren became Uncle Warren to me when he married my Aunt Rainey. When I was growing up, I believe, they were living in Texas and would come home and visit.

Warren and Lorraine were always amiable, good-natured, bright, witty, and just plain decent to their core.

It was years later that I learned about Normandy and things like about. Didn’t surprise me, really. I already knew he was a hell of a man.
