Dan went to Parks College on a baseball scholarship and received his degree in Aeronautical Science Business and worked for Fed Ex for 23 years. Dan loved fishing, golfing, Saint Louis Blues Hockey, Saint Louis Cardinals Baseball, as well as traveling the world with his family. Dan was a wonderful gentle soul who loved to laugh and have fun.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert K. and Helen J., nee LeVeck, Higgins; and a brother, Robert V. Higgins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Charmagne, nee Coil, Higgins;
their two children, who were his pride and joy, Alex Higgins, Ashlyn Higgins, and his daughter, Brianna Chatman;
four grandchildren, Carlee Chatman, Cheyenne Chatman, Skylar Chatman, and Cayden Vize;
one sister, Laura Miller;
one brother, Robert F. Higgins;
his mother-in-law, Zaida (Mavin) Nowicki;
his father-in-law, Bob (Lynette) Coil;
three sisters-in-law, Charlotte Eiseman, Charlenyne Coil, and Chantelle (Phillip) Neal;
many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As per Dan’s request, instead of a funeral, he wanted a “Celebration of Life” in the tradition of his beloved Irish heritage, when his dream home is completed in August.
