John Wayne Burns, 88, of Prairie du Rocher, IL, born February 2, 1935, in Belleville, IL, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, in Marion, IL.
John was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. John loved to watch and take care of his hummingbirds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret, nee Mank, Burns; and his sister, Jean (Bud) Kirkwood.
He is survived by his cousin, Denice Johnson.
