Brian was a well respected truck driver in the industry, currently driving for Jung Transport LLC in Mascoutah, IL. He was a huge NASCAR fan, an avid boater, and a devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Westerfield; one brother, Aaron Westerfield; a niece, Makaila Westerfield; and one sister-in-law, Jennifer Westerfield.
Surviving are his loving wife, Dawn, nee Grodzicki, Westerfield, whom he married on August 12, 2012;
his mother, Linda, nee Wright, (Paul) Miner;
one daughter, Jessica (Travis) Schmaltz;
one son, Zachary Westerfield;
two step-daughters, Kori Grodzicki,
and Anna Parnell;
five grandchildren, Lucas,
Kaleb and Brendon,
Addison and Triston;
three brothers, Brad (Toni) Westerfield of Mt. Zion, IL,
Jason Westerfield of Mt. Zion, IL,
and Chris (Heather) Westerfield of Decatur, IL;
three sisters, Lisa Bundy of Clinton, IL,
Melissa (Nate) Riggs of Mt. Zion, IL,
and Juliane Westerfield of Mt. Zion, IL;
and many nieces and nephews.
