Mrs. Hundelt was a retired homemaker. She was a member of St. Agatha’s Catholic Church and a former volunteer at Freeburg Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian M., nee Smith, Ahlers; a daughter, Catherine King; and a granddaughter, Angel Haney.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Lester Hundelt, whom she married on January 11, 1966;
two sons, Richard (Denise) Hediger of Fairview Heights, IL, and Robert L. Hundelt of New Athens, IL;
three daughters, Patricia Spier of Tilden, IL, Lisa Hundelt of Lenzburg, IL, and Stacy (William) Johnson of Pinckneyville, IL;
11 grandchildren;
20 great-grandchildren;
a sister, Ann Hartmann of Austin, TX;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Freeburg, IL, with Father Mark Reyling officiating.
Burial will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
