Adam D. Landry, 85, of Anna, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL, born July 10, 1931, in Vermilion Parrish, LA, passed away Friday, November18, 2016, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL.

Mr. Landry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force who retired as an E6 Technical Sergeant.  He also retired from Civil Service.  Adam was both a Deacon and member of First United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, IL, a member of Helmsman Mariners, and a lifetime member of the VFW and DAV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orphis S. and Evia, nee Soriez, Landry; a daughter, Diana Sharp; and a brother, Paul Landry.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Marilyn M., nee Monken, Landry whom he married on September 17, 1955;
four children, Anthony Landry of Abbeville, LA,
Mark Landry of Millstadt, IL,
David Landry of Columbia, SC,
and Linda (Bruce) Stone of Schertz, TX;
the father of four of Adam’s grandchildren, Edward (Amy) Stayman;
a sister-in-law, Norma Fay Landry of Maurice, LA;
ten grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Robert Dyer officiating.

Burial with military honors will be at Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh, IL.
