Mrs. Senzel worked as a cashier for Belleville West High School for 15 years before retirement. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. Agnes volunteered her time at the PSOP Belleville Senior Center, was a former Girl Scout co-leader, and hosted a Pinochle club for years. She enjoyed her bowling leagues at Bellaire Bowl, playing Tripoley with her monthly cousins’ club, Square dancing, and quilting. Agnes still drove a car until the age of 92 and loved her coffee, black with a little cream. Most of all, she was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and would not miss a game that aired on TV.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wesley W. Senzel, whom she married on February 19, 1949, and who died on April 20, 2000; her parents, William and Elizabeth, nee Schroeder, Spinnenweber; three sisters, Irene Metze, Marie Spinnenweber, and Margaret (Glenn) Hicks; and a brother, William H. Spinnenweber.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Farley; two grandchildren, Ashley and Brittany Daker; a great-granddaughter, Ahmya Marie; and a sister-in-law, Jenrose Spinnenweber.
