Alfred William Kinsella, 81, of Shiloh, IL, born May 5, 1942, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, July 31, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Kinsella had previously been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. Alfred, along with his wife, Judith, were the co-owners and operators of the Station Store, Belleville, IL.

Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Judith Ann, nee Marciniak, Kinsella, who died on June 16, 2004; a son in infancy; and his parents, Alfred Joseph and Erna, nee Meyer, Kinsella.

Surviving are his three children, Sandra Kay Kinsella (Richard Gannon) of Swansea, IL, Cheryl Lynn (Timothy) Weiss of Granite City, IL, and Patrick Kevin (Megan) Kinsella of Belleville, IL; and three grandchildren, Robyn Blechle, Amber Weiss, and Timothy “T.J.” Weiss, Jr.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
