She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Ret. USAF Lt. Col. George W. Strahlem, whom she married on March 10, 1945 and who died on May 2, 2018; and her parents, Ralph W. and Rosella, nee Rudolph, Shepler.
Surviving are her children, Greg K. Strahlem of Aromas, CA, Janice Lynn (Robert) Hartwig of Clarksville, TN, Denise Lynn Petri of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Jeff (fiancée Diane Krick) Strahlem of Belleville, IL;
six grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren;
and a sister-in-law, Kathryn (Ozzie) Meindel of San Diego, CA.
