Anna Marie Leonard, nee Bergmann, 81, of Belleville, IL, born April 24, 1934, in East St. Louis, IL, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Leonard had worked in civil service at Scott Air Force Base, IL.  She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna, nee Schmitt, Bergmann.

Surviving are four sons and a daughter, Robert Leonard of Swansea, IL,
Ronald (Mary) Leonard of Collinsville, IL,
David (Debra) Leonard of Freeburg, IL,
James Leonard of Belleville, IL;
and Laurie (Bradley) Ragland of New Athens, IL;
seven grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren;
two brothers, George (Joan) Bergmann and Frank (Vivian) Bergmann;
and dear friends, Dottie Von Bokel and her family and Sharon Mank.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, February 27, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 27, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
