Anne was a paralegal and retired from the US Army Corp of Engineers. In the early 1990’s, she and her husband, Gary, had served as Cathedral CYO moderators and were involved with Belleville Teens Encounter Christ (TEC). More recently, Anne was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. She loved camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dolores, nee Wittenauer, Reis; two brothers, Richard Reis and Greg Reis; twin sisters at birth, Dolores and Theresa Reis; a brother-in-law, Gary Miller; and two nieces, Christine Buss and Toni Buss.
Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Gary G. Woodrome, whom she married on June 9, 1973; four children, Brandon (Lisa) Woodrome, Elizabeth Mooney, Amy (Michael) Smothers, and Joseph Woodrome; eight grandchildren, Michael Smothers, Austin Mooney, Abraham Woodrome, Elijah Woodrome, Owen Smothers, Noah Woodrome, Gianna Woodrome, and Leo Woodrome; two sisters, Rose Miller and Mary (Glenn) Kage; a sister-in-law; Tama (Paul) Allard; a brother-in-law, John Woodrome; and many nieces, nephews, and friends, whom she held close to her heart.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Joseph Oganda and Msgr. William McGhee concelebrating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
