Annette Laurel, nee Acosta, SSGT., 64, of Belleville, IL, born September 20, 1957, in San Antonio, TX, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Laurel spent 12 years in the United States Air Force. Upon completion in 1996, she loved spending time with her family and traveling to a number of beaches in Florida.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Miguel Acosta.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond Laurel;
her children, William Walden and Krystal (Christopher) Sills;
her mother, Annie, nee Waters, Acosta;
her grandchildren, Seth Walden, Dominic Sills, and Penelope Sills;
a brother, Michael Acosta;
two sisters, Sandy (Chris) Kalmus and Liz Gonzalez;
numerous nephews;
and a niece.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO
