Miss K, I bumped into Mrs.Meyer at the Schnucks a couple weeks ago and she informed us of your mother's passing. All the memories I have of your Dad and Mom are from when I was very young. What I do remember is that she was a very classy lady that was a stunning example of the preacher's wife. She was always smiling and kind. Just know that the kids and I think of you often, (You actually came up in conversation today), and our thoughts and prayers are most definitely with you now and going forward. She went to God and your dad. God's promise is fulfilled.

We are saddened at the death of Arline, but comforted by the joy of Jesus' Resurrection. What joy there must have been last Monday at the gate of heaven when Arline entered! Her Lord and Savior was first to meet her and I'm sure Pastor K was right there too, with a host of so many others. Ruth Prince was probably directing the welcome choir with George Paschal singing his best. Linda, Mark and Gayle, May the Lord bless and keep you. May Jesus, our Savior, who abolished death be with you in your sorrow, stay at your side in the darkness, see you through your distress and give you light, peace and joy in the morning. In Christian Love, Jim and Arden Korn

I remember fondly Pastor and Mrs. Klitzing during our time at Messiah Lutheran Church and School in Memphis as well. So sad to hear of the loss of her on this earth, but what a reunion and celebration it must be in heaven!

I grew up at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Klitzings and their family. I was confirmed by Pastor Klitzing. I was also married by him and have been married for 48 years. Mrs. Klitzing was the sweetest and always had a smile. I am SO very sorry about her passing. Linda, Mark, and Gayle, I know you will miss her dearly. Please know that your family is in my prayers!❤️?
