Audrey M. Mudd, nee Davis, 76, of Belleville, IL, born July 31, 1940, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Mudd was employed as a Rehabilitation Case Coordinator for the state of Illinois before her retirement.  She was a member of the Belleville Philharmonic Society and served as a past-secretary, treasurer, and president of the organization. She served on the board of directors of the Belleville Women’s Bowling Association.  Audrey was a member of the Missouri Botanical Gardens and the Smithton Township Homemakers Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Taft and Nina Ann Louise, nee Buettner, Davis; a sister, Bonnie Fay Sigman; her twin brother, Donald Davis; and a brother, Eugene Athmer.

Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Clemence P. Mudd Jr., whom she married on September 3, 1960;
one son, Clemence III (Tammy) Mudd of New Athens, IL;
two daughters, Suzanne (David) Yarber of Belleville, IL,
and Sarah (Jeff) Young of Swansea, IL;
four grandchildren, Jessica Yarber, Emily Yarber,
Clemence Mudd IV, and Katie Young;
one step-grandchild, Dusty Pannier;
a sister-in-law, Joyce Davis of Belleville, IL;
a brother-in-law, Bob Sigman of Venedy, IL;
numerous nieces and nephews;
and a canine companion, Buddy.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Philharmonic Society or to the American Diabetes Association.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Roger Karban officiating.

Burial will be at Green Mount Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Audrey Mudd. I have many wonderful memories of her and the rest of the Mudd family from growing up on Fahey Place. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by many.
