Aurelia M. “Babe” Agne, nee Fix, 89, of Belleville, IL, born December 26, 1926, in Belleville, IL, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at her residence.

Mrs. Agne was a dedicated wife and mother.  She was a former member of the Henry Raab Grade School PTA and worked as a playground supervisor at the school.  Babe was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Walter Agne Sr., whom she married on June 22, 1946, and who died on July 27, 1994; her parents, John and Josephine, nee Hoh, Fix; one grandson, Donnie Carmack; one great-grandchild, Saegen Deeke; six brothers, John, Richard, Raymond, Lawrence, Elmer, and Irvin Fix; one sister, Helen Englerth; and one half brother, William Smith.

Surviving are her seven children, Sandra Deeke, Ronald (Nancy) Agne,
Suzanne Carmack, Walter Agne Jr.,
Sharon White, Daryl (Jill) Agne,
and Sara Johnson;
ten grandchildren, Stanley (Danielle) Deeke, Scott (Sunshine) Deeke,
Ronald Agne Jr., Sherry Bittner,
Tracy White Jr., Mandi (Tim) Pokorney,
Travis (Sarah) Agne, Ryan Agne,
Lori Schondelmeyer, and Christy (Brian) Cozart;
eleven great-grandchildren, Sierra, Nicholas, Nathan, Lacy,
Dallas, Jared, Abby, Brandt,
Slayde, Sawyer, and Sammy;
one sister, Vera (Albert) Juenger;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stanley (Celeste) Agne,
Delores (Eddie) Holdener,
Lillian Agne,
and Helen Agne;
and her grand-dogs, Chleo, Chloe, and LilShitT.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at the funeral home, with Rev. Brian Downs officiating.  Burial will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
