Barbara worked as a CNA at Memorial Hospital and Home Health Care before her retirement.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Leroy M. and Thelma A., nee Lotz, Kaiser.
Surviving are five children, Rhonda (Mike) Bauer, Todd (Jennifer) Honer, Kelly (Keith) Lampe, Austin (Shannon) Honer, and Dawn Honer;
seven grandchildren, Matt Bauer, Stephanie Kreher, Niki Raetz, Ashley Honer, Zachary Honer, Abigail Honer, and Sami Argo;
two great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Nancy (Bill) Fink of Las Vegas, NV, and Mary Lou (Dave) Brown of Collinsville, IL;
and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Mercy Rehab and Care and Hospice of Southern Illinois for the excellent care given to Barbara.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Cremation services will follow.
Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
