Barb will always be a greatly loved friend and greatly missed. I am so fortunate to have worked closely with Barb at Touchette Regional prior to moving to Australia. Barb and I spent many hours together in Kevin’s and my home in the timber, we would laugh, complain, create and at times plan a great escape from the Mid West. Even though I moved down-under, Barb and my friendship remained close. I admire this courageous woman who lived a life that truly mattered and leaves the world a better place for being in it. Kevin’s and my prayers for comfort for all those who love Barb are lifted to our Heavenly Father.

Cynthia and Kevin Schilling, Red Bud, IL, 62278

My thoughts and prayers are with you Jackie, Pattty, Brad, Doug, Greg, Stan and Tim.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our former co-worker, Barbara Jones- Kelly.Barb came to St. Mary’s Hospital in 1978 as a student nurse. Upon graduation, she became a member of the nursing staff. She continued her education and worked well over 30 years in various capacities .As the hospital transitioned from St. Marys’ hospital to its’ current identity as Touchette Regional Hospital, Barb continued to work faithfully to serve the healthcare needs of this metro- east community. Therefore we believe that whereas Barbara has served humanity now transitioned from earthly labor to await her eternal reward. We will miss her also. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time.
