Barbara was a realtor and retired from Coldwell Banker Brown and Century 21 Real Estate. Barbara was an avid glassware collector. Her passion was going to auctions and adding to her collection anytime she could.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Louise, nee Martin, Bardsley; two sisters, Mary Rensing and Gee Gee Bennett; a niece, Brenda Rensing; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cyrus and Lillian, nee Werner, Phillips; her step-father-in-law, Walter “Pat” Phillips; and her step-sister-in-law, Ethel Phillips.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ronald L. Phillips, whom she married on October 17, 1959;
a daughter, Cheryl Phillips of St. Louis, MO;
a son, Dennis (Melissa) Phillips of St. Joseph, IL;
three grandchildren, Alexa (Robert) Anderson, Nathaniel (Danielle) Phillips, and Justin Phillips;
one great granddaughter, Gwyneviere, Anderson;
one brother, Clifton (Cherie) Bardsley of Colorado;
one sister, Juanita Lake of Texas;
her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Lorie Phillips;
and a step-sister-in-law, Yvonne Phillips;
