Barb was the youngest daughter of James and Esther Schwarz. She was a light to many as she dealt with disabilities, enabling her to attend the Community Link Developmental Center in Breese, IL. With fortitude and zest, she finished her race, always enjoying her teachers and staff at both Aviston Terrace and Community Link. Barb was a handicapped person who didn’t know she was handicapped.
Barb loved her family, dogs, chocolate, and strawberries. She enjoyed a long walk outside, hanging out with her special buddy, teasing workers, and going to St. Francis Catholic Church. Barb was sweet, helpful, funny, and much loved. She will be missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Esther L. Schwarz.
She is survived by her four sisters, Mary Jo Schwarz, Jayne Schwarz, Jackie (Jack) Tecjek, and Donna Schwarz; and two nephews.

Funeral: Services will be held at 12 p.m. noon Friday, July 21, 2023, at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery Chapel, Belleville, IL, with Deacon Corby Valentine officiating.
