Mrs. Weidenbenner was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Shiloh, IL. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred J. “Wil” Weidenbenner, who died on March 29, 2012; two daughters, Cindy Amos and Kate Weidenbenner, in infancy; her parents, Vincent J. and Jane M., nee Donovan, Walz; three sisters and three brothers, Sister Vincent Walz, Daughters of Charity, Father Jerome Walz, Dennis G. Walz, Sister Jane Walz, Daughters of Charity, John Walz, and Mary Louise Cook.
Surviving are five sons, Clem (Ann) Weidenbenner of Grove City, OH,
Marty (Ginny) Weidenbenner of Belleville, IL,
Kris (Patti) Weidenbenner of St. Charles, MO,
Dan (Lynn) Weidenbenner of Shiloh IL,
and Mike (Judy) Weidenbenner of Kalamazoo, MI;
a son-in-law, Ron Amos of Freeburg, IL;
numerous grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren;
two sisters-in-law, Barbara Walz and Freda Walz;
and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at Grootens Hall (old Corpus Christi Church), Shiloh, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh, IL, with Msgr. James Margason and Father Joe Weidenbenner concelebrating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, IL.
