Mrs. Leonhardt was a nurse’s aide at Memorial Hospital in Belleville for many years before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Morton and Mary, nee Bilbrey, Fred; and a grandson, Brian Monken II.
Betty is survived by her son, Scott Leonhardt of Belleville, IL;
two daughters, Terrie (Brian) Monken of Swansea, IL, and Rhonda Cummins of Belleville, IL;
three grandchildren, Sondra Monken of Belleville, IL and Matthew Monken and Erica Reeve, both of Swansea, IL;
five great-grandchildren, Brandon Perry, Kylie and Sabrina Monken, and Shayne and Liam Reeve;
a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Carol, nee Gay, Fred of Russellville, MO;
a nephew, Mark Fred of Salmon, ID;
and a niece, Dee Dee Fred of Branson, MO.
