
Mrs. Voss was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. She had been a member of Our Lady’s Prayer Group at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Betty’s favorite pastime was playing bridge with her dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul C. Voss, whom she married on January 6, 1951, and who died on July 21, 2016; a grandson, Lukas Voss; her parents, Albert and Antonia, nee Glogovsek, Branom; two sisters, Rose Marie (Stanley) Quirin and Helen Hollynsworth; three brothers-in-law, Harry, Jim, and Richard Voss; and five sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Dunlap, Ruth McHugh, Emily Voss, Bette Voss, and Betty C. Voss.
Surviving are five children, Stephen P. (Marilyn) Voss of Millstadt, IL, Nancy A. Schulte of Belleville, IL, Joseph J. (Linda) Voss of Freeburg, IL, Patrick (Lisa Brown) Voss of Kirkwood, MO, and Suzanne M. Voss of Belleville, IL; 11 grandchildren, Cari (Chad) East, Christina (Noah) Vineyard, Matthew (Gayle) Schulte, Tony (Robbie) Voss, Alex (Nate) Parker, Caitlin (Greg) Boskamp, Lily (Sean) Pierce, Max Voss, Lauren (Trevor) Rowden; Elayna (Zach) Wyckoff, and Shane (Toriya) Blick; 17 great-grandchildren; and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Michael Arockiam and Msgr. John Myler concelebrating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
