Mr. Hoelscher was a sales representative in the tobacco and merchandizing industry. A devout man, he found peace in prayer and enjoyed creating moments of peace and joy where people could laugh. He has beaten the odds time and time again and enjoyed all sports. He was the founding member of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Breakfast Club and his true love was his granddaughter.
Brent is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Teresa Stanley Hoelscher, whom he married on September 29, 1984;
two sons, Randoll Paul Hoelscher (fiancée Jessica Blum) of Belleville, IL,
and Michael David Hoelscher of Martin, TN;
a granddaughter, Kendal Rae Hoelscher;
his parents, Verle and Matilda Ruth, nee Nadolski, Hoelscher of Belleville, IL;
a brother, Dale Hoelscher (Julie Shields) of Shiloh, IL;
two sisters, Lisa (Vernon) Gaal of Maryville, IL,
and Janice (Tim) Williams of Florissant, MO;
and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kendal Rae Hoelscher college fund, in care of Catholic & Community Credit Union, 6100 West Main Street, Belleville, IL 62223, or to Backstoppers. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Teresa, Verle, Matilda and all of the Hoelscher Family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Brent. The Hoelscher’s were our neighbors when we were growing up. There is not a better family around. May Brent RIP and his family find peace.

I was fortunate to get to know Brent after having his son, Randy, in my PSR class nearly 15 years ago. Brent was a true example for us all as a husband and father, and in offering his suffering to Christ. My and my family’s prayers are with Randy, Teresa, your family, and for Brent.

I had the pleasure to work for and to get to know Brent while driving part-time on his advertising truck a few years back during that time we became friends and not just in the business sense either. He was a man of great Ideals and integrity a joy to be around, his spirit was full of love and faith that showed through when you were around him. Farewell my friend God speed and to your family my prayers and blessings are with you may God give you all peace during your loss
