Brian D. Brown, 66, of Fairview Heights, IL, born October 23, 1956, in Bermuda, died Friday, February 3, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Brown was the owner and operator for PCM, Inc., for many years. In his younger years he played Rugby at Marquette University. He continued his love of sports by coaching his daughter’s volleyball teams at St. Teresa’s, and in his spare time he loved to golf. Brian was a friend to many people in the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Kathleen Marie, nee Patton Brown; and a brother, Kevin J. Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Laurie S., nee Schobert, Brown, whom he married on May 26, 1984; two daughters, Stephanie Brown and Christina Brown; four siblings, Kathleen (Jon) Hewko, Barbara Brown, Karen Brown, and John Brown; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, 716 Mt Airyshire Blvd Ste 100, Columbus, OH 43235. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation:  Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Nicholas G. Junker officiating.

Burial will be held at a later date.

I knew Brian well, we were good friends in HS. He was in my graduating class at Alfhoff. We have been meeting once a year in June at Greg Sahr's house in Edwardsville. Very sorry to hear of his passing My thoughts and prayers to the family. Frank Cange

Brian was a great friend since 1970. He was nearly always in good humor and his storytelling ability was priceless. He will be sadly be missed by many.
