Wow, what an amazing life and legacy you made Charlie. “I OFTEN THINK That people we have loved and who have loved us NOT ONLY MAKE US MORE HUMAN BUT THEY BECOME PART OF US And we carry them around ALL THE TIME Whether we see them or not…And in some way WE ARE THE SUM TOTAL OF THOSE WHO HAVE LOVED US And those WE HAVE GIVEN OURSELVES TOO.” Anne Harter

My deepest sympathy. A wonderful man. Remember him from when he worked with Blaine when you boys were in Scouts. Wonderful memories. Knew Mabel when she was a little girl.

Terry, This is Joyce "Kuhn." We graduated together at BTHS & made our confirmation together at Trinity UCC. Your dad was wonderful to my mother & me when I visited from GA. He & Mabel helped me so much when my mother died since I lived in GA. He was a great Christian man who is now in the presence of our Lord Jesus. He lived a remarkably long life, Terry. I loved both he & Mabel very much.

We lived across the street from Charlie and Mabel when my sons were young. In those days there was a great group of neighbors around us. We would visit with each other during summer evenings, and many neighbors, Charlie and Mabel included, would come to my son’s birthday party in our yard. Charlie and Mabel were wonderful neighbors. Years later when I would see them at a restaurant they always asked about the boys.

Terry, I am so sorry for your loss. I met your dad through St. Paul’s Home Foundation Board. We talked baseball and Hilgard’s. Of course, I remember you from the 1965 Hilgard’s. That was a good team. We should have gone farther in the playoffs. My sympathies to you. Rich Binder
