Cheryl was a devoted teacher and taught for over 30 years at many Catholic grade schools, primarily at Cathedral. She was also the PSR Director at Cathedral Parish for many years. After retirement she worked at Target. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Jacquelene “Jackie”, nee Agnew, Lemay; an infant brother, Dennis Lemay; and a brother-in-law, Michael Henderson.
Surviving are her loving husband, Kent Neu;
two children, Jeff Neu and Kristin Neu;
two grandchildren, Nathaniel and Zachery Hess;
three brothers, Edward Lemay, Gerald (Jenell) Lemay and Rev. Larry Lemay;
a sister, Becky Henderson;
and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating. Masks are required.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
