Condolences Left For Clara Lickenbrock

Dianne, David, and Nancy and Family — Please accept our sympathy on Aunt Clairie’s passing. She was truly a gift to not only your family but to all of us as well. We were so blessed to have her in our lives for so many years. I always have said — at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter what you have accomplished, what your possessions are, or how glamorous your life was. All that really matters is what people say about you when you are gone. If they remember you with love and admiration, then you have had a pretty great life. We hope you can celebrate the fact that you had a mother that was loved by all and she is rejoicing with the Lord and the family that she has not seen in quite a while. I just wanted to let you know that Larry and I won’t be able to attend the visitation or the funeral. We are leaving for vacation early Thursday morning and won’t be able to make anything. I am so saddened that I won’t be able to attend and say my final goodbye. As we speak (brother) Danny is giving me a hard time (joking) that I should cancel my vacation. I told him that Aunt Clairie would be mad at me if I did that and she probably would be. Instead, I will be thinking about you all and celebrating the beautiful life she had. Hugs to you all.
