Corey graduated from Belleville West Township High School. He loved watching The Price Is Right with Bob Barker and listening to old classic country western music. He enjoyed getting breakfast on Tuesday mornings and happily greeted everyone with “hi guy” or “hey dude”.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lauretta, nee Schneider, Compton; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Virginia Engle; a brother, John Blassingame; and an uncle, Tom Compton.
He is survived by his parents, Donnie and Barbara, nee Compton, Engle; a sister, Mary Beth and Sean “Hey Dude” Horn; a sister-in-law, Sher Blassingame; a nephew, Landon Horn; three nieces, Brooke and Leah Blassingame, and Emilee Horn; three aunts, Libie, Dorothy, and Gloria; an uncle, John Compton; and a family friend, Vicki Bagwell.
