Cynthia A. Deutschmann, nee Glaus, 68, of Belleville, IL, born December 30, 1946, in Belleville, IL, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Cynthia enjoyed reading, playing cards and loved animals.  She was also devoted to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson.   A loving mother and grandmother, Cynthia will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lela, nee Cooke, Glaus.

Surviving are two sons, Brian Deutschmann (Sherry Pfannerstill) of St. Louis, MO,
and Scott Deutschmann (Tamara Loveland) of New Haven, MO;
her grandson, Hunter Deutschmann;
a sister, Georgia Lee (Larry) Snyder of Belleville, IL;
and nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Private family burial will be held at St. Agatha’s Cemetery, New Athens, IL, at a later date.
