Dale was the founder and president of DKD Trucking, South Roxana, IL. He loved truck driving, camping, and side by side riding. Dale adored spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eleanor, nee Kreher, Braun; two brothers, Donald and David Braun; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leroy and Florence Hacker.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah “Debbie”, nee Hacker, Braun, whom he married on July 11, 1981; two children, Kyle Braun (Haleigh) and Ashley (Lance) Fix; three grandchildren, Levi, Lincoln, and Adalynn Michelle; two sisters, Barb (Gene) Fetter and Jo (Steve) Sturgeon; a sister-in-law, Kathy Braun; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Cari Frus officiating. Masks are required.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Cemetery, Hecker, IL.
