Daniel Lorta

Daniel A. Lorta, 64, of Freeburg, IL, born May 9, 1953, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, after a 10 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dan was a retired forklift operator and trailer mechanic of 19 years for Par-Co Maintenance in Freeburg, IL.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Jésus and Virginia, nee Carmona, Lorta; and his brother, Jesse.

Surviving are his close friend of 16 years, Maria Nihells and her son, Ethan Jones of Freeburg, IL; Jodi Miles-Lorta and her daughter, Alyssa Miles of Springfield, IL;
a “Son”, Josh (Angie) Pryor of Millstadt, IL;
and many close friends who loved him very much.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
