My very sincerest condolences to Darrell's family. I knew Darrell during our youth years. It was a ton of fun to grow up with Darrell. Many of my memories from my high school years include a crazy story with Darrell in it. He was a wonderful person and was always their for his friends. God certainly has a special place in heaven for him. He will be missed.

Mary, In my experience with tragedy there are not any words that can convey our feelings nor do justice to help you heal. Unfortunately after a loss- time is the only healer and lots and lots of tears. You and yours will be covered in my family's prayers. I know you may not feel that you will but there is so much more life for you, your children, and all that loved your husband. If you could trade places with him I'm sure you would but think only for a moment what he would want for you and those you both love. I'm sorry this has happened to you....You know where I sit if every you think of something I can do to help!

Dear Mary and family, I am so very sorry to read of Darrell passing away. I never knew Darrell and Doug very well, but enjoyed talking with you and Darrell so much at Pat's funeral visitation about Gulf Shores and remembering Darrell at a very young age. Again, our deepest sympathy from Fred and myself and my mother Aunt Edith's side of the family.

Darrell, I wish I had the chance to hug you. You helped me and didn't even know me. I'm a MS patient and you seen me struggling to find a spot to park so you made it your priority to get me an assign parking spot. And I remember tears flowing when I was surprise to see my name because it didn't say handi-cap. To your family I want them to know you will always have a special part in my heart. I will keep all in my thoughts and Prayers. Rest in Heaven!
