Linda, you and Dave were a pleasant couple. Always enjoyed being around the both of you. (Perfectly matched couple) Have a lot of fun memories from back in the day while playing ball, golf and party's at Bucks. Never heard anyone say anything bad of Dave, other than he built a lot of bridges for IDOT and we all had to listen to him. “He loved what he did” After all that. Dave was a swell person and I would like to express my condolences to you and your family.

Dana, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I didn't know him well, but I remember seeing him in the halls early in my career... and I could tell that he was well respected and a good man. Obviously this is a very difficult time for all of you, further complicated by not being able to grieve in our usual ways. But may God give you the strength you need and provide a peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

I remember Dave from our grade school days as one of the best and fastest football runners in the city. He was injured in our Freshman year and never fully recovered. Dave and I became hunting buddies. We spent a lot of Saturdays chasing cottontails throughout St. Clair County. "Mountain Music" was one of the good guys for sure. I will miss him at the reunions.

Linda I’m so sorry to hear about David. He was such a sweet and caring man - he would attend Wesley’s soccer games when he was little and I always enjoyed visiting with him. He will be truly missed - Wes told me he kept in contact with him and is very sad that he won’t be able to make the funeral because he has a newborn and can’t risk bringing anything home with the virus going around. He really wanted to see the family and be with all of you at this time. Linda thanks for always being so sweet and kind to me when I was with Tom. Prayers and blessings, Lisa Telle

May your memory be eternal Grandpa Dave. Thank you for supporting me throughout my college years and treating me as one of your own. From allowing me to stay multiple nights at your house and park my car there for long periods of time and celebrating big events with me. I'll always remember you saying "Don't worry little Diana, there hasn't been a break-in in 50 years!" and making the most delicious breakfasts with Grandma Linda and showing me old pictures of Uncle Mike. Thank you for all the beautiful memories and for having such a big heart with open arms. These memories will forever be in my heart.
