Dee was a member of First Baptist Church of Kirksville, MO, where she was baptized on June 28th, 1942. Dee became a military wife as a young adult and had 2 children and resided within the Freeburg, IL community. Dee eventually got divorced but stayed active in the community and with her family on a weekly routine. Those included an appointment to Cut, Color & Create, laundry at her daughters on Saturday and spending time with her grandkids on the weekends. That always included sleepovers at “grandma’s house.” Mrs. Davis worked at and retired from Magna Bank Operations Center. Dee was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Rob Morris #98, and AARP. Dee enjoyed bowling and belonged to the Women’s Bowling Association and the Belle-Comers Club. She was an avid card player at PSOP and the Senior Center in Shiloh, IL. She used her card talents to teach her kids and grandkids to play cards on many occasions. Her great grandkids are now starting to pick up playing cards. Her legacy is definitely being carried on.
