Dennis Rickert, 72, passed over into a greater dimension on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Sharon Ann, nee Ritson, Rickert;
a daughter, Mary Kathleen (Greg) Rudy of Mason, OH;
and a son, Bryan Charles Rickert (Rita Ledee) of Belleville.
Dennis was greatly blessed with four loving grandchildren, Paige and Ethan Rudy,
and Aloisia and Leontine Rickert.
He is also survived by two siblings, Allen Rickert of Belleville; and Betty Schmidt of Columbia, IL.

Dennis was the youngest son of Clarence W. and Lorene Rose, nee Waigand, Rickert of Belleville. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, June Kish and Darlene Reeb Ebersol; and a brother, Clarence E. “Sonny” Rickert.

Per Dennis’ request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
