Annette, Jan and family, Deepest condolences at the loss of your father. Although, I haven't seen your father in many years I feel it hasn't been that long since FB posts show the same twinkle in his eye and smile on his face that I remember throughout the many years of your friendship with Eileen. Growing up in St. Teresa parish your parents are one of many I always remember as steadfast regulars at Mass. Now, many of those regular couples have joined each other in Heaven watching over their families here on earth. As I will not be able to pay my respects personally; know that I will be remembering your father in prayer and holding your entire family up during this difficult time. Much love, Angie Kiehl Garrett

Dearest Annette and Jan and family, Dennis was special...a bit stubborn but I know you all knew that. The minute I took his arm as he walked me down the aisle I felt his strength and all accepting love. I knew I was not just his daughter's friend but a family member welcomed warmly into the circle of love. Now Dennis is in a place where he is whole no longer in pain but rejoicing with Rita. Dean and I send our deepest sympathies. The road is never easy but Dennis traveled it well. His legacy lives on in each of his family members. Love you all. Prayers for comfort.

To Jan, Annette and all the family, I want to know that we are so sorry to have lost our "Old Uncle from Illinois ". The memories we have of him and all of you will be some of the happiest times we will remember. Every time I spoke to Uncle Denny his words transported me back to a simpler, better time, and I will always be grateful for his wisdom and humor. It's always tough to lose someone you've known your entire life, but I have a feeling he's back on the farm with Aunt Rita and Gram and Baub and Dad, so he's in great company. I will miss him terribly. Love to you all!

Dear Annette and Jan, I am so sorry to hear of Dennis’s passing. He was almost like a second dad through all the years of high school, college, and beyond. I know my parents really enjoyed getting together with Dennis and Rita and we had a lot of laughs over the years. So please accept our condolences for your entire family.

Annette, Jan, and family, My deepest sympathy at the loss of your dear father. You were blessed to have him until his nineties, but that does not lessen the pain of his loss. Your dad has been welcomed into Heaven by your dear mom, and they will always be smiling down at their wonderful children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. May all your memories of his sweetness and great smile bring you comfort at this sad time. Love, Kathy (Kiehl) Clanfield
