Mrs. Zurick was a graduate of East Side High School, East St. Louis, IL. She worked as a clerk and teller at Scott Credit Union, Scott Air Force Base, IL, before her retirement. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Belleville, IL.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, John Zurick; her parents, Fred and Amelia, nee Gotcher, Sanford; a sister, Frieda Horwich; and a niece, Jean Cox.
Surviving are her sister, Gertrude Bourdouris of Belleville, IL;
four great-nephews, Donnie Cox and his wife Kim Cooley of Oceanside CA;
Robert Cox and his wife Shelly of Las Vegas NV;
Dean Cox of Baton Rouge LA,
and Jared Cox and his wife Cynthia of Baton Rouge LA;
four great-great-nephews;
and one great-great-niece.
