Flowers Fading

 Dying in the fall
Leaving with the Hummingbirds
My love leaves with them this year

Her need for these earthly things no more She has a date with the one That can save her from this disease That leads us both to ruin

Her shadow will forever be with me

Long after the day sails over the horizon on the sundown The shape goes on

 The soul goes on
The shadow stays
Farewell my beautiful Donna
Farewell,

Steve...So sorry for your loss. Donna & I were on the newspaper staff together in high school. I was so happy to reconnect with her a few years back. I so enjoyed her sense of humor & her kindness. I lost my husband in August after a long illness. Just want to let you know that there is ‘life at the end of the tunnel’. Sincerely, Sue Guetterman

Steve, Sorry sorry for your loss. I was in Donna’s high school class. I’m so thankful that we were able to reconnect in the last few years over lunches. Heaven gained an angel, she will be missed.
