
Doris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her dogs were her babies. Doris loved gardening, picking blueberries, making wine, feeding the birds, going to auctions with John, entertaining, and cooking for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Dennerlein, whom she married on February 1, 1947, and who died on July 11, 2003; her parents, Walter and Della Mae, nee Schott, Poirot; two brothers, Roy and Norman Poirot; and a sister, Pearl Bauer.
Surviving are her two daughters, Jean (Paul) Cermak of Millstadt, IL, and Sue (James) Procasky of Freeburg, IL;
grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Webster, Julie Cermak, Mark (Kindra) Procasky, and Brian Procasky and friend, Beth;
great-grandchildren, Cody, Maelynn, Kooper, Seth and Brady, (mother, Michelle Procasky);
nieces and nephews; and her best friend since grade school, Betsy Eckert.
