Doris always had a smile and a kind word. She always came to RSVP Orchestra dances to watch Earl and the rest of the group. At Christmas, she always gave band members treats. She lived a good, long life and inspired others with her happiness.

To Sandra Hayes...Doris and Roy were a wonderful part of my childhood. I maintain beautiful memories of them both. And I cannot express in words how much my mother Emma loved your parents. The 1950's and 1960's were a great time to be a kid because of them.
